‘Le Meraviglie' is an experiment on typography. The typeface is inspired by Femina, a font designed in 1913, and by the imaginative world of Alice Rohrwacher. The Italian director is known for her dreamlike and subtly surreal storytelling, often centered around intimate poetic narratives and strong female characters. Her films are tender and slightly mystical, exploring themes of girlhood womanhood and the delicate spaces in between.
