How would you change this piece of paper?
With this work, we strive to create an experience aiding the study of the subcontious of human behavior. The project revolves around ten people’s approach to transforming a piece of paper using a single instrument. They attempted to answer the question: “How would you change this piece of paper?”. The entire experience aims to display how our actions are a reflection of ourselves, even in trivial matters such as changing a piece of paper. Indeed, we noticed how each person was unconsciously telling us a lot about themselves in the way they approached our request, as we could confirm with a short interview. Based on the results obtained, we decided to gather all the materials collected. The process, the final scanned output, and a reflection by the ten individuals. We decided to transform the obtained responses into an interactive and playful experience. Through it, it’s possible to recreate the story behind every piece of paper and individual.Connecting the materials, each person is able to explore the processes of the human mind for themselves.
